A house on Carrington Street caught on fire this morning:
Firefighters were summoned at 9:16 a.m. to the 2400 block of Carrington Street near North 24th Street and found smoke rising from a two-story house, said Richmond fire Lt. Shawn L. Jones. […] Fire officials attributed the cause of the blaze to a cooking accident.

The vacant house featured in the center of the photo (2411 Carrington) didn’t catch on fire, did it? It was my impression that the house fire occurred elsewhere on the 2400 block of Carrington (2415, maybe?). Just met with the owners of 2411 yesterday…
Current Traffic Info said that is was 2415 Carrington Avenue.
ahhh–I must have confused the house in the photo with its also-boarded-up neighbor.
It is a fairly-vacant stretch…
I was there… I think it was occupied from the looks of the distraught people talking to the fire folks.
That house it the picture wasn’t the one.
Which photo? The address given is of the house in the photo at the top of the post.
The house in the pic looks nice… hope whatever went up wasn’t too badly damaged.
The inside of the home was not severely damaged, aside from ash/odor and a partially burnt kitchen ceiling/wall.
