Mary L shares:
The Church Hill Association is raising money to help Richmond Hill pay for the removal of the large amount of graffiti on the wall at Taylor’s Hill park – you’ve probably seen it. A group of folks have been cleaning up the park and trying to take better care of it – Richmond Hill has been helping in that effort. The hope is to clean the wall of the graffiti, then make some improvements to discourage future artwork on the wall – perhaps creating more appropriate venues for the kids who are painting the wall.
How can you help?
You can join the Friends of Taylor’s Hill Park group – volunteers are greatly needed for path repair, weeding, planting… all sorts of things.
If interested in helping, you can make a donation to the CHA of RVA and indicate “graffiti removal” in the memo section. You can mail to CHA, PO Box 8031, Richmond, VA 23223.
