Neighbors, if you’re driving towards downtown or the Shockoe area or Canal St- then expect some extra slowdown this morning.
WHO: City of Richmond Department of Public Works
WHAT: Street Closure
WHEN: Tuesday, May 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: The intersection of 17th Street at Cary Street
BACKGROUND: The aforementioned area will be closed for paving of the cycle track. Through traffic on Cary Street will be detoured around the intersection. Local traffic will be permitted for access to the on-street parking and parking lots in the area. The local traffic will be detoured through the Main Street parking lot to exit onto Main Street. The Mega Buses that serve Main Street Station will be temporarily served on Main Street. Please use caution and follow the traffic signs.
