That location needs bright, well-lit professional signage (not vinyl banners) to be successful unless you are going to get reviews and publicity like Roosevelt or Dutch & Company. Not easy to be seen from Broad Street and not enough traffic by it to generate interest on its own. This is the third restaurant to fail in this location, two of which appear to have served quality food. The location is an issue and will continue to be.
Really – the old Nolde Garage on N 24th Street across from the fire station should have been a restaurant like this. And the Long and Foster office that took the Nolde garage space should occupy this lower traffic spot Lower 48 failed in… To me this was all very predictable but sometimes developers lack common sense and vision.

A shame. Great place but always empty
