Where: Martin Luther King Jr Middle School at 1000 Mosby St
What is it: Richmond area city and county schools, community organizations, faith communities and more will come together on March 24th to stand in solidarity with the student-led National March For Our Lives event in Washington, DC.

Join us as we rally at MLK Jr. Middle School and march together across the MLK Bridge to the State Capitol. We will conclude the march at the Bell Tower.
It’s time to send a strong message that we’ve had #ENOUGH and are committed to the #NEVERAGAIN movement. Our children deserve safety and protection.
*This ALL INCLUSIVE, student-led march is being brought to RVA in partnership with with Richmond Public Schools, The Gun Violence Prevention Advocacy Group of the LWCC, The Virginia Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, Moms Demand Action-RVA, the Richmond Peace Education Center, the NAACP-RVA, various faith communities, students from schools all over our local area, AND MORE. Please come stand in support of our local students who are ready to make a difference in our communities! ALL are welcome to this nonviolence march on the Capitol.

I am so glad there will be something here.
So glad to see that we will have a chance to stand with young people here in Richmond. Our generation has failed them in this and other ways but now that they are taking the lead, there is hope for real change. This is a good generation, a better generation. We need to support them in every way we can.
