February 19, 2016 9:18 am by

Historic Richmond Junior Board will host Architecture 101 with Edwin Slipek at Patrick Henry’s Pub on Wednesday, February 24. Happy hour from 6-7:00 PM, with the lecture to follow from 7-8:00 PM.

Mix and mingle with great people in Architecture 101 with Ed Slipek, hosted by Historic Richmond’s Junior Board.

Ed Slipek will provide us with an overview of the varying architecture styles found in Richmond and how those styles have contributed to the character of the city. Mr. Slipek, a native son of Richmond, is a senior contributing editor and architecture critic at Style Weekly and adjunct professor of architectural history at VCU.

This event is intended to provide an introduction to architectural styles for the architectural novice and deeper insight to how those style affect the Richmond landscape for those who want to learn more about our city.

The event is free but tickets are limited. Please RSVP!
