The new Jus’ Fish has their grand opening on Saturday, but are very much open for business today.
I stopped by for lunch. It was kind of awesome.
I have no idea what kind of fish this is. It’s a lightly fried fish that is white and flakey and kind of buttery. If monkfish is “poor man’s lobster”, this is poor man’s monkfish.
The three piece is a filling meal. Every order is served with spicy fries and a small side of slaw or potato salad, in a cardboard container over slices of white bread. This is not healthy, but it sure is good.
The creamy coleslaw is a perfect complement to the spicy fries and fish. I wanted more slaw.
This will be great porch and beer food all summer long.
