The new Richmond Slumlord Watch is quickly becoming a must-read by digging into the ownership of many of the more iconic vacant houses in the area. A recent post profiles Herman Massenburg’s 1980s disaster at 1300 North 29th Street, another looks at both Charles Parham’s crumbling vacants at 2117-2119 Cedar Street AND his McMansion out by Willow Oaks Country Club.

Wow – that really looks like s**t.
It must take a really insensitive money-grubbing guy to build some horror like that, let alone in this setting. I suppose they will say the same thing about those tri-levels they are building in Fulton one day, too.
Disaster is right! Put it out of its misery!
Is Herman related to Andre Massenburg? Anyone know?
I have always thought they were related, but I don’t know it for a fact. Don’t get me started on Andre Massenburg. He trashes up Carver with his trucks and storage of materials and falling down houses.
