A man was apparently shot in the leg at about 8:40PM this evening in the parking lot behind Shiloh Baptist Church at Carrington and Russell Streets. Neighbors report hearing 3 or 4 shots, followed by a woman calling for help.

Does anyone know why no incidents are showing up on the “crime info” map link?
The data for that is pulled from Richmond Crime. It looks like their data hasn’t been updated since Aug.19; the map on this site shows the last 2 weeks by default (for which there is no data…).
Channel 6 says the victim was robbed and shot twice. The RTD describes the victim as a 19-year-old, and quotes a police representative as saying that “drugs were the likely motive”.
I found this website a few months ago. It updates every day or few days.
