Prostitution stings nets 28 arrests citywide

RPD conducted several citywide prostitution stings on December 3, 4, 9, and 10 in which twenty-one ladies of the evening and afternoon were picked up (including 3 in our little area north of Fairmount Avenue).

Court date set for recent prostitution arrests

There have been a spate of prostitution arrests in the Fairmount area recently. Word from Sector 113′s Lt.Harrison is that the court date for those arrested will be November 20, 2009 at 9:30AM.

RPD concludes Blount killed himself

In a long article, the RTD is reporting that the RPD has concluded that East End robbery suspect Curtis Blount, fatally shot Sept. 20 after being cornered in an alley by police, killed himself with his own gun, according to a nearly completed police internal affairs investigation.
