A man is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after an overnight assault and robbery on 32nd Street. Sources at the scene say that the incident occurred inside one of the houses on the 400 block of 32nd Street, and that all parties were known to each to each other or to other people inside the house.

apparently this is the same house that 1-2 years ago also got the back all shot up due to a disgruntled drug dealer…. nice…

I was wondering if it was the same house since the same problem with its inhabitants still exist….

Very strange and worrisome. Did anyone hear anything about a dog being involved? I heard that on the street.

Last night, I was chased by a gang of 10 people on Segways. I think these crimes are somehow related!

Hi all, I live around the corner. Which house was this? The house that I remember having all the problems is currently being rehabbed. And why would someone open the door to a stranger (as reported in the RTD) at 6:50 in our neighborhood.

Amy, there is a house across from the old problem one that has a drug addict as a tenant. That dude bought from the peeps in the house now being rehabbed. The one dealer (I’m won’t use names) used to sit in front of this house, holding watch, waiting for drug addict to come out or home. It was not fun to watch.

Said drug dealer, or his peeps, shot up the back of the house a year or so ago. They took drug addicts car, too, and ended up totaling it.

I haven’t seen said drug addict out and about looking for a fix in a long time so I was beginning to think he was on the mend. Apparently not.

[name redacted by publisher] owns the house and it’s his crackhead boyfriend who’s causing problems for the area. Last year, because the boyfriend wasn’t paying his drug tab, his dealer came by and fired some warning shots in the back door. Now this week, this dynamic duo is bringing more violence to the block. When is enough going to be enough? These two have got to go.

I was walking my dogs around 6:15-6:30am Sunday morning at 30th and Broad. The victim drove west on Broad Street and ran the stop sign at 30th and E. Broad, parked his car, got out and began limping very badly to a house on Broad Street. I could see that his left leg was drenched with blood. He ran up to the house and began to pound on the door and was yelling for them to call police. I ran back to my house on Broad and called 911. At that point I did not know what had happened until the police, ambulance, etc show up.

Thanks for keeping me posted. I find the whole story bizarre to say the least. Getting stabbed, jumping in the car, going to another house to get the cops called, no cell phones at 417?

Yes Church Hill Dem, it is the crazy crackhead boyfriend causing the problems. Or attracting it anyway. But since his boyfriend not only owns the house but continuously puts up with the drama associated with keeping said addict around, there isn’t much we can do.

gosh, his boyfriend must be wicked in bed to keep him around after all these shennanigans! haha!

The said owner is also a druggie as well as the other guy that lives there. They still have random people coming in and out of the house at all hours. Anyone who witnesses this guy doing something shady should call the police. He needs to go.
