Chihuahua name Inki lost on Clay Street today. Blackish dark blue color with white spot on neck and white underneath. Approx 7 lbs, is 1 yr old. Please call 869-6690. /// From Craig’s List: “Lost purebred long haired Russian Blue name Beau. He got out of my apartment and ran away. I know he is still in the area but cannot find him. He is probably hungry and huddled somewhere terrified but not able to find his way home. I am getting ready to move and do not want to leave without him as he is a part of my family. Please call Hannah at 804-551-5419 or Jess at 804-549-2187 if sighted.” Clay&24th Streets.

I’m a cat lover / owner myself so know how these guys do become part of the family. Will keep an eye out for you. What part of Church / Union Hill are you in (roughly)?

Please keep us informed. The cat has a better survival rate outdoors than the poor little chihuahua. So heartbreaking to think of the little baby running loose and alone in the cold night. Hope someone finds Inki! How did he get loose and away so far so fast?

I still haven’t found my inki 🙁 I was at work late one night and my boyfriend had let him in to the fully gated backyard. A few minutes later he was gone. I have thoughts he may have been stolen as I have heard it has happened on clay st before. I just ask that everyone just keep your eye open for him.
thanks

Sure are a lot of animals that go missing up here on the hill. What gives? Are they stolen for pets, sold for money medical research, run over, eaten?

Sorry Tayla, don’t mean to upset you, as I am a pet owner myself and would be heartbroken if one of mine went missing.

Anybody have a theory about the disappearances besides a potential zombie comment by “Whodat”?

I am sure you have but just in case, have you checked with the SPCA, city Animal Control, and the police stations (1st and 2nd precinct) to see if anyone either turned Inki in or picked him up?

You didn’t say which intersection on Clay as it runs for MANY blocks?

Eric
