Remember: This crime “happened” in Colonial Heights. We can’t help where it ended but the start is s tri-cities issue.

There was a triple homicide at 29th and Clay St. years ago when we first moved here. It happened in that cinder block on the corner.

Bad juju.

The crime may have started in Colonial Heights but a bit sketchy since I am assuming the carjackers were coming “home” or at least to a place they knew.

And to think that when I saw the TV cameras I got excited and thought that someone was finally taking a look at the fact that there is a corner store covered in cigarette ads selling 40’s directly across the street from an elementary school…

and yes that corner has bad juju.

I concur with v. I passed the channel 8 news truck on my way to work the other day and thought maybe they were doing a piece on the neighborhood or real estate. didn’t know anything about the situation until I read it here.

The market is on 30th and Clay though but still that corner is bad juju and next to an elementary school. I agree that the perps were heading home most likely which makes one wonder driving past there.

Hs anyone ever complained to the ABC about the convenience store — specifically about it’s proximity to the school and the fact that it seems to attract unsavory elements?

ABC has been contacted many times about that store but to no avail. Thanks for the replies………….
