The RTD and Discover Richmond have put togther a multimedia tour of ‘Historic Church Hill’ that has sections on St.John’s Church, Chimborazo Park, Libby Hill Park, Jefferson Park, and the Church Hill Train Tunnel.

Toddler dies in apartment fire

A 21-month-old toddler, Kamau Oliver II, died yesterday morning in an apartment fire (apparently started by his 4 and 6 year-old brothers playing with a cigarette lighter) in the 2000 block of Creighton Road. [via]

Richmond police are looking for 27-year-old Derrell G. “Bubba” Murray of the 1200 block of North 29th Street in connection with a fatal beating of Travis Johnson early the morning of July 15 at the corner of Shields Avenue and Cary Street. [via]
