I’ve always liked looking at old theaters on cinema treasures, but never occured to me to look for the local ones! Soooo cool
I wish these photos would have surfaced when i wrote my 2013 article in the CHA Newsletter about the theaters in the Church Hill area. At least we can now for sure see the marquee canopy on the building is close to the original being more triangular rather than the proposed rectangle during the restoration proposal. I came up with a tax record photo which gave a hint that the design was different and with my suggestion, the marquee design was changed.
