Hello from the team at Church Hill People’s News!
As you know, we recently updated the website platform for our 15 year old news site. While we absolutely love the new look and have gotten an overwhelmingly positive response, there are content items that still need to be migrated. Now that the site is launched, our internal staff of 3 is working as quickly as we can to get everything transitioned and working optimally. We love our work, but there is a lot of it at the moment.
On our list:
- New content obviously, starting with keeping up with the news
- Clean up the remaining bugs
- Broken links throughout
- An update to the Visitor’s Guide
We ask for your patience as we work through this phase of the website redesign. You can expect new content starting soon. We hope that our investment in this new platform will serve our community on an even greater level.
With love from the CHPN Team
Gustavo, Jacob and Vanessa

I am not positive about the new site. When I check the box to save name and email, it does not work. A neighbor complained to me that it was like being in a room with fifty televisions, all tuned to different channels. And this bit with old stories being headlined is the pits – I can’t tell what is old and what is news. And there are three of you, but another neighbor told me she posted something and it took two days to show up; John Murden, as she put it, kept up with it even back when he was teaching and he was just one person. And from me – what was wrong with the old site? I don’t think this is an improvement, sorry.
@crd thanks for the feedback. We’re working through the bugs. Have a great weekend.
Great job team! It was fun to re-skin your site and we’ll enjoy seeing it continue to come together with all your great content!
If there was a link at the top slide that just sends you to “All Posts” that would be great….The categories is nice, but it would also be nice to still have the option to see posts from most recent to oldest like the old site….
@Sonny, that’s great feedback! We’ll get that implemented soon. I’ll send you an email and make an announcement when ready.
