From Richmond Tree Stewards
As we all know, healthy urban trees moderate our temperature, improve water quality, offer food and shelter for wildlife, and even benefit our own health. Richmond Tree Stewards want to increase the canopy in Richmond city this year and we need your help!
This project is directed toward community groups which are defined as any non-profit organization, public school, private school, house of worship, or volunteer group that cares for spaces such as public parks. Properties must be in the City of Richmond. The group must complete an application. Application is here
Richmond Tree Stewards are giving trees to community groups (non-profit organization like schools, houses of worship, groups that care for spaces such as public parks, etc) and will be providing support to plant and care for them.
