Wondering if any of your readership can help locate our bicycles. My wife picked me up at the airport, and while she was gone someone got into our yard and took 2 bikes off our back porch.
They were taken between 4:50p-5:30p on Sunday from 800 block of N 27th in Church Hill. One women’s Linus Dutchi, cream colored with basket and vanity plate. The other, a men’s Globe Vienna 2, dark blue. Yard was, and still is, locked. Bikes were on the back porch, but not locked. Looks like whoever took them hopped the fence into our yard from the alley between 27th and 26th. We’ve notified RPD. Hoping any eagle eyes on the hill might help get our wheels back. Unfortunately, the bikes were relatively new to us, so no photos of the bikes themselves [Editor’s Note: bike pictures are stock photos].
No signs of forced entry. Back gate locks with keyed deadbolt, found one of our helmets inside the gate, our unused bike lock outside our gate. I’m assuming they jumped the fence. Maybe they picked the lock?
