IDK about this bike share thing. Thought it was a cool idea at first. Just got back from Dallas. Saw tons of bikes on the sidewalk, but not one rider. This was Sat afternoon and a nice Sunny 80 degree.

But Dallas is a car city. Or TRUCK city. It is pretty good here. Great in NYC.

Would LOVE to catch the punk-a$$ that tagged the bike.

@UnionHeathen – that’s why we can’t have nice things in RVA.

I’m actually kinda surprised some artsy types haven’t checked out a few bikes and done some work on them. Not to “tag” them, necessarily, but these things are just begging for personality.

Its the most used because we only have ONE in the whole East End. We need more!

Capital Bikeshare in DC is booming. And now at least four companies are trying dockless bikeshsre. But to encourage lots of people to ride it’s important to provide safe bike facilities including protected bike lanes on busier streets.

I have been using the system to commute downtown from Church Hill. Leigh Street viaduct cuts out the entire hill and I’m loving it. Takes less time to bike there than it would to walk from a parking garage to work.
