East End Brewery Bicycle Tour is tonight

One of the many events of RVA Bike Month 2016: East End Brewery Tour (plus some advocacy sightseeing!) is this evening at 6PM:

Meet at Stone Brewery Parking lot off of Williamsburg Avenue… at blue bike rack near the pedestrian bridge to the Stone Brewery tasting room.

We will be biking around Fulton, seeing some cool old historic road connections (former streets, lost bridges, old RR right of way, former trolley line) that could once again be used, this time for bike – ped connections between Fulton and its burgeoning Brewery scene and the residential areas of Church Hill, Libby Hill and Chimborazo Hill.

Light historic commentary as we go and discussions of ongoing efforts to reconnect qnd redevelop these areas. We won’t be riding for more than an hour. Drinking is not recommended until the cycling is done. Stone Brewery is open late and they do take your credit card. 🙂
