Make your Own Sauerkraut

Learn how easy it is to make your very own Lacto-fermented Sauerkraut as well as the benefits of
lacto-fermentation. It’s super yummy and healthy!

Participants each will receive a handout with basic fermentation instructions and everyone will make their own batch of sauerkraut to take home and enjoy!

Lion of Judah Mission Presents: The Fulton Family Fun Run/Walk! Join us Saturday, November 15th in supporting and promoting good health in the community! We will come together to complete a 1 mile walk/run through the Fulton Hill community. There will be health screenings, good food, vendors and music! Special guest D.J Yoseph spinning Roots and Culture.

This is a family event and is a benefit for the Friends of Historic Fulton Memorial Park!

We will see you at the starting line at 9am at The Fulton Hill Studios parking lot at 1000 Carlisle Ave, RVA!

This month, we invite you to attend a MPACT conversation with our Department of Public Works and the G(reater) R(ichmond) T(ransit) C(ompany). DPW will discuss the leaf collection and the leaf collection schedule and GRTC will discuss their B(us) R(apid) T(ransit) Project.

CAPS/Code Enforcement and the Richmond Police Department will also be in attendance to address concerns you may have in your neighborhood. Light refreshments will be provided.

We’ve moved up the November & December meetings by one week due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

The November meeting will be Wednesday the 19th, the December meeting, Wednesday the 17th.

Meetings will be held at the Family Resource Center, 2405 Jefferson Avenue, beginning at 6:30pm followed by social hour at the Union Market.

UHCA typically meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at rotating locations.

The event will include a Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts sign-up, an after party, and “meet the filmmaker”. General Admission is only $1 per person and for VIP ‘Red Carpet’ Photos with Producer and Meet n’ Greet – VIP tickets are $5 per person.
