Obrien Jackson, 19, was charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Earle Parrish on May 27, 2005. Jackson was already in custody for the Dec. 31, 2005, murder of Ricky Peebles in the 2800 block of P Street when he was indicted in Parrish’s death. Jackson had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting of Peebles.
