While coming home from work today, I ran into a few of my neighbors and each one of them asked me if I received mail since Saturday. Unfortunately, it looks like no one on our entire block has received deliveries from the post office. Everyone had Amazon packages come through just fine, but no mail. One neighbor has had outgoing mail sitting to be picked up since Sunday, so it looks like no mail carrier even stopped by his house at all this week.
How are you fairing? Any mail? Packages being delivered?

Nooooooo, apparently my whole street has NOT received mail. My neighbor asked a carrier she saw and they suggested it was due to staffing.

No. Worse than usual terrible service. Have received packages from both UPS and FedEx

We have gotten mail every day except Monday I think!
Mine has been sporadic at best.
I get informed delivery from the post office which tells me in an email every morning what will be arriving that afternoon. I had about 6 pieces of mail coming yesterday = but nothing delivered.
Just got it today. First time since last Sat too. Been also tracking a package that is supposedly at Henrico post office pending delivery…since 11/29.

I think I got mail this week. I’m really bad about checking it daily but I do hear the angry stomping of the carriers when they come. If anyone has tips for getting the mail-person to pickup my outgoing messages, I’m all ears!

First delivery was Wednesday, I was also tracking something. Am on Broad near 26th. Walk was shoveled but no delivery Mon or Tues.

It’s definitely been hit or miss on my street. Another thing that I know that is not correct: I see packages to me marked as ‘delivered‘ on the shipper‘s or usps web sites but I don’t actually receive said packages at my house for another 1-2 days. ‘Delivered’ should be delivered to my house. Anyone else?

I’ve seen US post office carriers out super early in the morning and as late as 9pm delivering mail. A lot of them are people I’ve never seen before so there might have been a bunch of turnover or new hires added.
#16 when I came to Richmond 8 years ago I was told outgoing mail pickups just don’t happen here. Not sure how true that is but I stopped trying and just take letters to a blue mail receptacle. There’s one near Proper Pie.
