Sidewalk near Chimborazo Playground

Just be careful out there folks, especially with your children and pets or if this is part of your jogging routine.

Thanks to Eric Howlett for sharing with us.

Does that mean Grace St is sliding down the hill again?

Not personally checking yet, but just be aware of your surroundings.

Thanks for posting this. I was just about to walk over to show my husband that I could have DIED running in the dark this morning. And not to mention the incredible danger to children and dogs, yikes!!

Yikes Joyce! Glad you’re safe

Cross this? Absolutely not.

This needs to be taped off and reported to the city. It’s not only an immediate safety hazard for anyone who might try to cross, but that big of a hole needs to be investigated and repaired.

It’s a retaining wall on the left for anyone unfamiliar. I’d be more concerned about the stability of the retaining wall if that much water moved through there. Hope inspectors do a thorough job and find a way to prevent future erosion.

It’s the city so that’s unlikely

Contact the city departments directly and via SeeClickFix. Also call your Council rep. If enough people make noise, there’s a better chance of improvement.
