InLight is this WEEK!

From Emily Smith:

We are excited to share that 1708’s InLight 2020 is this week and will have artworks in the neighborhood.

On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (7 – 11 p.m.) and Sunday (7 – 10 p.m.), an installation by Stephanie Woods will be on view at Oakwood Arts at 3511 P Street and on Saturday, a project by The Kinfolk Effect will be presented at the 17th Street Market. More information and an interactive map of the entire exhibition can be found here: We thank you for hosting us and hope you will visit ALL of the artworks!

1708 Gallery is a nonprofit art gallery in downtown Richmond and InLight is our annual exhibition of light-based contemporary public art-video, projections, multimedia and interactive projects, sculpture, installation, performance, and more. InLight usually takes place over two nights at a single location but due to COVID, 1708 has reimagined InLight to safely provide arts programming for Richmond by bringing InLight INTO the community from November 12 through 15.

We are also hosting a public FAQ Zoom tomorrow, Tuesday November 10, at 5:00 p.m. Please feel free to share the invite below!
