Richmond Land Bank’s Citizens Advisory Panel (CAP) meeting May 7th! Discussions for property on the East End!

Howdy neighbors!  Here’s some information I wanted to share.  Be sure to voice your opinions if you live around these properties!

The Richmond Land Bank‘s Citizens Advisory Panel (CAP) will be meeting on May 7th to discuss the use of 8 properties throughout the city. Of these, 4 are in the East End:

  • 1608 N 28th St, Woodville
  • 2006 Carver St, Eastview
  • 1208½ N 32nd St, Church Hill
  • 1029 N 30th St, Church Hill

If you live near any of these properties, the CAP would like to hear from you! What should these properties be used for? You can leave your comments at the Next Meeting page on their website. As well, you can sign up for the land bank’s mailing list to continue receiving udpates.

About the Richmond Land Bank:

The Maggie Walker Community Land Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to permaently affordable homeownership and responsible land stewardship in the Richmond region. In 2018, MWCLT was appointed as the City of Richmond’s land bank, under the Va. Land Bank Entities Act of 2017. Since then, the land bank has been receiving vacant and tax-delinquent properties from the city, with the mission to return them to productive use for the benefit of the community.

That’s all for this one, folks!

I would love to see them build some apartments for the homeless like myself. I am currently living in a shelter. Looking for housing.

Would love your thoughts, please comment.x
