Howdy Neighbors! Just a heads up on the 35th Church Hill Irish Festival happening next month at 25TH & E. BROAD STREET IN CHURCH HILL, RVA! Saturday, March 21st (10AM-7PM) and Sunday, March 22nd (10AM-6PM), to be exact.
Come enjoy the aforementioned corned beef, cabbage, mashed potato prepared by the Ladies of St. Patrick’s! Not to mention fish and chips from the Rare Olde Times Irish Pub, St. Patrick’s Grill, Curbside Creations and many more! This year will also feature Guinness tastings with the Guinness Ambassador!
Entertainment will be aplenty at this festival. While helping fund organizations that directly benefit your local community, you’ll also be enjoying face painting, Irish-themed crafts and over thirty Irish vendors!
The Hill Topper 5K will also return on Sunday, March 22nd in 2020! All runners will get a FREE beverage upon completion and some sweet gear! Here’s a link for more info on that!
Parents, there’s going to be a children’s play area included too for the little ones along with children’s games! Non-service animal pets are asked to be left at home, however. Sorry, Rover!
A suggested $5.00 donation will be collected at the gate. Proceeds will be going to a good cause, including St. Baldrick’s Society and their fight against childhood cancer, the Church Hill Association, the Church Hill Crime Watch, Richmond Hill, Child Saver’s Clinic of Richmond, St. John’s Church, the St. Peter’s Meals Program, St. Francis Home, the Greater Fulton Neighborhood Resource Center and many other neighborhood causes. Proceeds also benefit the historic preservation of St. Patrick’s Church, a “little church with a big heart” built in the 1850s by Irish Immigrants to Richmond, and its outreach programs.
There is free parking with a shuttle at 16th & E. Broad Street, as well as free parking and shuttle at Stone Brewery in Fulton with drop-off at 24th & E. Broad St. and 26th & E. Broad St. The shuttle runs all day both Saturday and Sunday.
Handicap drop off at 24th & Broad.
Transportation sponsored by Richmond Limousine.
