VCU Health to Host Teen Workshop Series in Church Hill

VCU Health Emerging Leaders Program is looking for inspired, engaged teens in Church Hill to participate in their fall workshop series on preventing violence.

More information on their program at VCU Health Hub @ 25th:

Geared towards 14-18 year olds, the series aims to empower, and educate young people on how to navigate their personal lives. Through participating, youth are encouraged to dig deep and challenge their ways of thinking. Programming will incorporate both interactive activities and thought provoking discussion. Dinner and snacks are provided.

Workshops will take place on the following dates:

  • October 23rd: Self-Esteem and Self-Worth
  • November 6: Stress Management and Coping Skills
  • November 20: Communication and Conflict Resolution
  • December 4: Holiday event

Programs will take place from 5-6:15 pm at the VCU Health Hub on 25th.

All programming is free and open to the public but space is limited.

Rachelle Hunley does a fantastic job mentoring and working with the youth in our community! This is an excellent series for them!
