Artober Fundraiser for CultureWorks and Free Art Giveaway

This October in RVA, it is all about ART!

ArtoberVA is an annual celebration of arts and culture in Richmond and the Tri-Cities area. From Jazz Fest to The Booklovers awesome takeover of Jefferson Park, there is no excuse to miss out on all of the great art Virginia has to offer this month.

This year local artists Mickael Broth, Emily Herr, and Wingchow have teamed up with Bonfire for a limited edition fundraiser to support ArtoberVA.

All of the proceeds raised from the sale of shirts benefit CultureWorks, the nonprofit organizer of artoberVA, and a nonprofit of each artists’ choosing.

Additionally, there will be a FREE art giveaway right here on the Hill:

Josh from Bonfire writes:

We are doing an art drop each Wednesday at noon. Each of the pieces is related to one of the shirts that Mickael Broth, Emily Herr, and Wingchow designed for artoberVA collaboration. To win the piece, people can follow Bonfire on Instagram or check our Instagram page at noon for an image showing the location of the piece in an Instagram story. The first person to show up and find the piece gets it.

Want to snag an original art piece from Wingchow?

At noon, Wednesday the 23rd, @bonfire will be hiding an original piece that inspired one of their @artoberVA t-shirts somewhere in Church Hill.

The piece that will be given away

Follow them on Instagram to see the location of the piece tomorrow. The first person to arrive at the location gets to keep the artwork!
