Neighborhood Resource Center of Greater Fulton Hosts Job and Resource Fair

On Thursday, August 15, 2019, NRCWorks of the Neighborhood Resource Center of Greater Fulton will host a Job and Resource Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Center, 1519 Williamsburg Rd. Richmond VA, 23231. The event is free and open to the public.

Richmond area employers will be present at the fair to interview job seekers, and NRC staff and volunteers will be available to assist in the process.
“The fair provides a great opportunity for those looking for work to interview with multiple employers in one location,” said NRCWorks Director Victor McKenzie.

Confirmed employers who are currently hiring and will be at the fair include Care Advantage, Centimark Commercial and Industrial Roofing, Goodwill, GPM Investments (Fas Mart), Henrico County Public Schools Pupil Transportation, Lingo Staffing, Produce Source Partners and Waffle House.

Resource organizations at the Fair include Community College Workforce Alliance, GED/RPS Adult Education, Lantera Labs, New Virginia Majority, Partnership for Housing Affordability and WHO Counseling Services. They will be there to assist job seekers with education, counseling, voter registration and restoration of voting rights and housing services free of charge.

The Job Fair is part of NRCWorks’ commitment to offering career and personal financial services to help individuals build income and well-being.
