Magical Music Thursday in Libby Hill Park

Richmond Parks and Recreation Brings Live Summer Music to Church Hill

Local Church Hill band, Richmond Burning, will be playing at Magical Music Thursday this coming Thursday, 7/19/2019, at Libby Hill Park from 7 pm – 9 pm. This is a program sponsored by Richmond City Department of Parks and Recreation

Richmond Burning is a musical collective of experienced players bringing you blues, rock and jazz with a funky edge. On any given night, you may hear music from Muddy Waters, Aretha Franklin, Talking Heads or George Gershwin and all points in between. We love playing music. And we really love playing music that gets people moving and dancing and singing. Live music is a shared experience. We feel it, then you feel it and then we feel you and it just goes from there. And everybody goes home feeling good. Come join the party!

Admission is free and it’s family friendly.

Thanks for posting this. We’re really excited. What could be better than playing outdoors in such a great spot for your friends and neighbors? Sweet!

Sorry that the weather didn’t cooperate last night. We’re hoping that Richmond VA Parks and Recreation might reschedule and have us back. A bunch of us live up here. We were really looking forward to a neighborhood party! Thanks to everyone who came out. That lightning and electrical devices thing….
