Libby Hill Park Mulching Day

From the Friends of Libby Hill:

Dear Friends of Libby Hill Park,
The weather says Spring is finally here. Come celebrate!
Work shoulder to shoulder with your neighbor……

  • to tend our beloved park
  • to mulch trees,
  • shovel out street gutters,
  • clear storm drains and steps

There will be a fire in the stove to take the morning chill off, Coffee, bagels, muffins and Hot soups to recharge your batteries. ,

If mulching is not your thing and you would like to help, you could bring food for the troops, help set up the food or make a donation to Friends of Libby Hill Park to cover expenses.* Please pass the word.

Hope to see you there,

Coqui Macdonald,Chair, Friends of LHP

* Beauchamp Payne (649-8162) is coordinating food. Checks to Friends of Libby Hill Park can be dropped in mailbox at 2718 E. Franklin St to tend our beloved park.

Church Hill Association’s Parks Committee in partnership with Richmond Hill is also planning a park clean up day for Taylor’s Hill Park (the park runs behind Richmond Hill and wraps around to behind ChildSavers) next Wednesday, April 3, 9:30am to 11:30am. We will be meeting at Richmond Hill (2209 East Grace Street) inside the gate. Richmond Hill will provide light refreshments after the work is done. Volunteers welcome!
