From the Richmond AmeriCorps Alums:

Are you a former service member? If you served in AmeriCorps or VISTA, whether last year or in the last 50 years, we want to hear from you! Bring your ideas for the group and learn more about leadership opportunities within the Richmond chapter!

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs that each take a different approach to improve lives and foster civic engagement. Members commit their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more

The Richmond AmeriCorps Alums are a local chapter of former service members who would like to stay engaged in their community through volunteer, social, and professional development events.
