There’s a park clean up at Chimborazo this Saturday, March 2, from 9-11 am!! All help would be appreciated!
The Church Hill date is incorrect. March 24th is a Sunday. I spoke with Darlene and she is going to correct this. I believe it will take place on the 23rd instead.
I am 100% for city clean up, including this. But clean up STARTS AT HOME! While out for a run this morning I watched a guy go from his front door and into his Audi, ignoring two pieces of trash right there in front of his house. A trash can was just feet away.
SA Chaplin – who knows with that person, but I walk by trash and don’t pick it up with my bare hands all the time, even in my yard. Too gross for me – esp if I can’t immediately wash my hands. But, I pick up almost two full bags every other week, when I go on a major cleanup around my house. Proper gloves and with my pickup stick.
This is the trashiest neighborhood, I swear.
