Luna was found on Nine Mile Rd. She is home safe and sound now.

If someone could please help me find my new dog, I would be forever grateful! I’ve been driving around for hours trying to find her. I just adopted her from RACC. Her name is Chicken Nugget, but I renamed her Luna. They gave me a disposable leash. We were on our way to the pet store, but I stopped at home first. Upon getting her out of my car, she broke off the leash. She ran through Jefferson Park and past the Alamo. She is friendly, but super fast. She’s microchipped. Hi. Thanks for sharing! There is a black dog similar to her running loose in Oakwood Cemetery by the fence. Not sure if it’s her. I trailed the dog yesterday and today, it wouldn’t come to me. I called Animal Control.
I saw a dog fitting her description running up 25th st (@ O) towards the police station @2pm

I’m so happy for you! We saw her (and you) at Alamo and tried to catch her, but she ran off so quickly. We were very worried, glad she’s safe at home now 🙂

Thank goodness! I tried to entice her with my pup at Jefferson Park but she ran off when I got close. She is faaast.
