If you’ve been keeping up with Church Hill People’s News or The Robinson Theater you know that this past Friday, October 5th, 2018, was our first annual Church Hill Masquerade Ball! A big thank you to The Robinson Theater for partnering with us to bring this event to life.

We had so much fun and thank you to everyone that came out. The night started off with people showing up a little early. However, DJ Duffy got things started with a bang. He had the crowd in sync and at times you could hear everyone chanting parts of a favorite song, dancing, etc.

We had amazing food and drinks enjoyed by all from the below sponsors. A BIG Thank You to all of them.

In addition to the great food and drinks we had 5 raffle packages! Congratulations to all the raffle winners which in total took home over $1,500 in prizes! Sponsors of the raffle included:

We would also like to give a special shoutout to another couple of sponsors Oakwood Arts and Lauren Medina Photography. They ran photography for the event and did an AMAZING job.

For everyone that used the photo booth, you should have gotten an email with a link and password to access your photos. If you did not please shoot us an email at

You can find some additional event photos here on Lauren’s website

In addition to all of our commercial sponsors, this event wouldn’t have been possible without all of our volunteers. Thank you to everyone that attended, donated money, items, and time.

The event was a great success and we’re looking forward to doing it again next year.
