Narcan Training at the East End Branch Library

Work with the public on a daily basis? Want to learn more about how to help in the event of an overdose? The East End Branch Library will be hosting a free training on the use and administration of narcan, the most common medication used to treat an opioid overdose, on October 2 at 3:30. The class will be taught by REVIVE!, the Commonwealth of Virginia’s opioid overdose and naloxone (narcan) education program. Narcan will be dispensed free of charge to participants.

Participants must register in advance, and the class size is limited. Call (804) 646-4474 to sign up today.
