When: Today from 6 to 8 PM
Where: 1706 E. Main Street
Hosted by Haunts of Richmond

Please join Haunts of Richmond for this special event supporting our friends at Central Purrk. Enjoy cats, ghost stories, a stop into Fallout RVA for the tale of their own ghost cat, and more! 90% of your ticket will benefit Central Purrk. Central Purrk “rescues kitties all over the greater Richmond area and provides a comfortable space for them to live while they await their forever home. Admission is charged to interact with the cats, $6 for 30 minutes or $10 f0r an hour and includes a beverage (soft drink or cup of coffee, tea, hot chocolate). We also work on the rehabilitation of behavior/social issues, so your unconditional love and patience with some of our kitties helps them develop their winning personalities.”

Starting at 6:00, you will be admitted to Central Purrk to spend some time with our feline friends and chat with the Haunts of Richmond guides. Story telling will start about 6:15 inside Central Purrk for about 15 to 20 minutes.

About 6:40, we will venture out into Shockoe Bottom for a walking ghost tour for about 45 minutes on our way to Fallout RVA. Fallout RVA has graciously offered us private use of their facility until 8:00 for this event. At Fallout RVA you will hear a few more stories, including the tale of their own ghost cat! We encourage you to enjoy some spirits (beverages not included in the ticket price) while we spin our tales at Fallout RVA. Also of note, Haunts of Richmond shirts and books from our author friends will be available for purchase during the event with all of the profits from these items also benefiting Central Purrk.

This event is family friendly. Tickets are $15 each (all ages). 90% of the ticket price will be donated to Central Purrk to help them care for their amazing cast of cats. Tickets are limited, so pick yours up soon!

We’re a touch late on this, but thank you for sharing! It was a great event last night, and we raised over $400 for Central Purrk. We’ll be doing more events like this in the future, and we hope y’all can join us!
