Good for the RPD. It’s a thankless job.

ummm. they’re thanked with their salary. They’re thanked with benefits, both on and off the job. They’re thanked in ceremonies, thanked by politicians and business councils regularly. I thank police officers frequently.

I feel like to say that it’s a thankless job is a real stretch. Maybe you just meant that as a figure of speech though.

Great to hear that murders are down, last year was so damn sad in this respect. Thank you RPD, community activists and the people in the marginalized neighborhoods where murder is more frequent. What do you think is the reason for the drop?

How is this the result of RPDl? Murderers in Richmond are not considering the police at all. There were just a few less reasons for someone to pull the trigger on a fellow man this year

Jason, not sure of what the Mayor and RPD have done; if they have done “anything” at all.
