From our Shockoe Neighbors: Main St Station Featured on The Bachelorette

If you’re a fan you may be seeing your favorite city in your favorite show.

From the City of Richmond:

Main Street Station and its iconic clock tower are featured in the current season of ABC’s The Bachelorette and will be seen again in an upcoming episode scheduled to air Monday, July 2at 8 p.m.

Main Street Station is Richmond’s downtown historic train station constructed in 1901. It is the region’s multimodal transportation center and serves AMTRAK’s northeast corridor, intercity bus service, the Virginia Capital Bike Trail, Megabus and more.

The landmark station sees 65 million passersby annually and houses Virginia’s Capital City Welcome Center. In 2017, the newly rehabilitated train shed opened as one of the premier event spaces in the United States, with a 47,000 square foot event hall encased in glass.
