Housemade by Hilary Teams with Church Hill Renovator for Richmond Debut

Housemade by Hilary owner, Hilary Martin, has teamed with well-known house renovator Brooke Robertson to launch her business in Richmond, featuring one-of-a-kind home goods crafted from forgotten pieces of Americana. The pop-up sale will take place in Robertson’s latest renovation at 816 Chimborazo Boulevard with a preview from 5 to 8 pm Friday June 8, on June 9 from 9 to 4, and on June 10 from 2 to 5. All the furnishings will be for sale. Martin originally had planned to open a shop on Venable Street in Church Hill only to find that zoning would not allow it. The reworked and refurbished vintage furniture and accessories that will be for sale is inventory she created for the shop. Brooke Robertson said, “This is an opportunity to own a one-of-a-kind piece crafted by Hilary Martin, named earlier this year by Country Living magazine as one of America’s 100 most creative people, and to inspect a home that has been meticulously renovated by my company, Savvy by Design.” Hours for the open house and sale are Friday June 8, 5-8 pm, Saturday June 9, 9-4 and Sunday June 10, 2-5.
