A transformer fell here yesterday
I imagine this all to let the concert set for the new poll dominion had to install.
Heres an idea….. walk around it
People complain when the power goes out and they complain when Dom fixes it… LOL. This is a city ROW, so its the city’s responsibility to fix it.
I’m pretty sure the City and Verizon own s lot of the poles. Maybe it’s not Dominions pole and they just fixed it for emergency work? People just like to complain
To be fair, the transformer fell on Saturday and then it rained all day. How could the City fix that in so short of time and in that weather?
True, but when they installed the pole 2 years ago they NEVER came back to fill. Now the hole is bigger. I don’t have a lot of faith. And I’m sure Dom thinks it’s the city’s job.
ah I see. I think that this huge hole is dominion’s job (cause it’s their transformer that caused the damage) but I’m no expert in this
A transformer “FELL”?
Ha! Walking into traffic as a solution……
@7 It is the city’s job… Dom isn’t responsible for maintaining city ROWs regardless as to whether it was their transformer that fell.
FWIW, Dominion contractor was just out there measuring and marking. I asked him what was up. “We broke the sidewalk. We have to fix it.” So, there you have it.
