“August 24, 2015: Police have not yet released the names of the woman and man killed near a Richmond playground Sunday night. Investigators were called to the 700 block of North 35th Street, near Bill Robinson Park in the East End, at about 11:09 p.m. when neighbors heard gunfire.”
The female murder victim left behind a 5 year old son. Her mother could no longer bear to live across the street from the park where her daughter was murdered, so they moved to be with family in North Carolina.
Sorry, but whenever I hear the name of this park, this is what comes to mind.
I’m happy to see the park become better.
