Celebrate 5th anniversary of Groundwork RVA!

Date: 3/30
Time: 4:30-6:30

Reason: Raising funds for Manchester Climbing Wall conservation project this summer with Mayor’s Youth Academy (applications still open for high schools to join us) as well as funds for water bottles and backpacks for youth on trips and projects. “If you’re into climbing at Manchester or outdoor Rec/beautification, helping #RVAyouth complete projects, beer, or interested in who or what Groundwork RVA is and what we do please stop by!”

We chatted with Kendra Norrell, Program Manager for Groundwork RVA, and asked her why this was so important for her and for the community:

From my point of view it would be great to have more community interest in the work that Groundwork RVA. We work on a variety of urban greening/beautification/conservation projects in Richmond and would love to get new youth involved and new volunteers! We would love to use this event as an opportunity to broaden our reach and open us up to new projects.
