Do you know this pup found on Stony Run Rd.?

Stacy G shared

We found a dog running scared and loose, in the wooded area on Stony Run Rd. Very friendly dog. Red collar, but no tags. We’re keeping him safe until I can get him to a vet and see if he is chipped. Thanks!

He looks forlorn:( I hope someone wants him and will take care of him properly. Was he chipped?

Alli, unfortunately no chip. He is such a sweet dog! Very well behaved, house trained, and obviously socialized…so sad thinking he has been out in this cold weather! Other than a few walks we’ve taken him on, he has been asleep…like he hasn’t in ages.

Toni, thank you for your kind words! You’re right! I really hope we can connect him with his original owner or a new, loving family. A really great dog!

Stacey — Thank you for being so kind to him. Will continue to keep a good thought for a really good resolution for him. So many lost babies out there — he’s lucky to have you in his corner.

Have you let Richmond Animal Care and control know as well as Henrico Animal care? They may have been notified of the missing dog
