    • 2108 1/2 East Broad Street – Construct a new three-story single family home.
    • 2200-2202 M Street – Amend plans for the facade of a previously approved duplex.

Huge improvement on 2108.5 e broad! Three story buildings with 4’ crawl spaces and no usable front porch should be banned! It would be nice if full or half basements could get a tax break though, it is much more expensive to deal with moisture issues in basements than to pop 3 stories on a crawl space.

Broad Street finally looks like what we want to see. Great stuff!

2108.5 E Broad is still all wrong… the massive stairway, elevated front porch, and overall height just disrespect the gradual stepped character of the neighboring homes “marching” up Broad. It destroys the harmony of the block. 2102 and 2104 are already a black eye; why add insult to injury? It should not be approved.

I returned recently from a trip to Washington DC and had the pleasure of walking around Georgetown. What a lovely neighborhood! I hope that projects like this one help bring the same kind of class to our little slice of heaven. What a wonderful project this is. This person should be commended for working to make our neighborhood stand out.
