Missing this fella? Updated!

Update: I followed up with John and he updated up on this fella

I took him to animal control on chamberlayne the next morning. As I was leaving I got a call from a young woman who said it may be her dog that ran away a few months back. I gave her the info for animal control and it seemed like she was going to go by for a closer look. That’s all I know currently. Thanks again for helping!

Fellow neighbor and good guy John A. just let us know he found this dog wandering in the rain around Church Hill at 30th and S streets. He’s an old boy in rough shape. Just in case he has owners looking for him, we’re putting the word out! He’s a white pit bull probably 7-10 years old. Black spot above his tail. If this is your pup, contact John at 716-471-1160.

John will be be taking this fella to the SPCA tomorrow to see if he has a chip.

Poor baby, thanks John for taking him in until his owners are found. Hope he wasn’t deliberately left out in the cold.

I love him so much. Please keep us updated. He looks really sweet. I wonder if he was put out because he was sick?

Whoever let this poor baby get in such bad shape doesn’t deserve him. If he doesn’t have a chip, which I bet he doesn’t, I hope John keeps him until he find him a real family that will love him. He was found in the same area that Penelope, the dog that was abused and fought, of which there is still an ongoing investigation. Please keep us posted and thank you John and for posting him.

I have been known to adopt old, white senior dogs before…..

Don’t be afraid to adopt older pets, who need love and attention as well. I am sure the sad face is from a sad life and needs someone to love him.

Is there any news on the pup? Does he have a new home?

I hope he has been claimed or found a new home. John A. – what happened?
