Where to recycle plastic bags in Richmond?

Melissa asks:

Does anyone know where to take plastic bags for recycling in Richmond? I usually bring them to a Lowe’s, but I have amassed a ton of them and Lowe’s won’t take them all. I understand Target will take plastic bags, but again, not in large quantities. Thanks.

Kroger, Target, Lidl, Publix. If you have more than their one container can take then you may need to make a few trips or go to a few different places.

I used to work at the Lombardy Kroger and oftentimes the bag used to collect plastic bags was oftentimes full of regular trash and tossed in the dumpster.

Walmart’s has a good sized bag return section (definitely the super center on nine mile) some thrift stores will take them I’d call ahead and make sure
