Is the first item, the Glenwood Ave. one, the trolley barn demo? Anyone know?

Click on the link to the agenda for the meeting, When the agenda comes up look at the two links under the agenda item. The first is the City demolition notice, and the second is the study of the site by Dutton. Interesting reading. We still have a chance to oppose the demolition.

How do we make sure this gets widest exposure to let people know the process is underway?? Other than obviously sharing the FB post…

The trolley barn must be saved!

All but three of the trolley bays and part of a wall will be demolished. Construction on the apartments will begin in January.

From Marianne Pitts 0 Planning and Preservation Division. Department of Planning and Development Review:

Thank you for helping share the CAR agenda on Church Hill People’s News. I wanted to clarify one item with you. The Commission will not be formally reviewing or having a public hearing on 3801 Glenwood Avenue. The Commission has an opportunity to provide comment as a part of the Section 106 process. The item is on the Business Portion of the Commission’s agenda to allow staff to share information about the project and the Section 106 process and to allow the Commission to discuss any comments they would like to share.
