Car stolen Friday night on 29th Street

From Rebecca:

Just wanted to let you know my mother in law’s car was stolen last night from 29th between Libby Terrace & Franklin. She’s confident she locked the car, but admitted there was an extra set of keys in the glovebox. Talking to neighbors there are reports of two other cars on the same block (one locked & one unlocked) being rummaged through in the past two weeks. I know this isn’t anything new, but it’s always a good reminder to make sure you a) lock your vehicle and b) don’t keep anything valuable inside. If anyone sees a beige RAV4 with SC plates around, let me know…

Sorry they took the car. My car was rummaged through Sunday night (33rd and broad) My key fob didn’t lock so it was easy however they wasted their time as they rummaged through what I call a toddler car (Nothing but toys and trash).

Sorry they did that but you made me lol with the "toddler car." Been there. Still there actually but now I can’t blame it on toddlers (they’re grown).

There was a camera installed years ago that looks at the park and the lower fountain. It should be turned toward the street and the soldier and sailor’s statue to catch these creeps. Let’s use what we have.
